Today was my travel day to San Miguel…just north of Paso Robles. The L.A. part of the drived sucked kaka, but the rest of the drive was pretty scenic. I listened about 60/291 songs on my iPhone on the way up. Thought about and prayed for the soldiers I have yet to meet. Started wondering what it would be like if I were going to be deployed overseas. Probably a ton of anxiety knowing that there is always the risk of an IED roadside attack. I will do my best to encourage these heroes. They may not see themselves as heroes, but seriously, they are putting themselves in harms way for our country.
Once I settled in my room, I set up the laptop and went on Hulu to watch The Office. This is exactly what I used to do when I was in Ohio. I guess I’m a creature of habit. I brought a workout DVD. I’m hoping there is a fitness center so I can work out a little. I’ve been uber lazy these past few months. Anyway, enjoy the pictures. More to come…
